This section provides information about LISP and the installation of associated

development software and utilities running on UNIX machines, e.g on an Apple Mac

Pro computer under Mac OS X. Further on, this section outlines configuration

aspects and the network interfacing between Mac OS X and a LISP development

environment running on a Symbolics machine.

In detail, the proposed LISP development environment for Mac OS X platforms

consists of the following:
